{"id":1301,"date":"2020-05-26T13:27:41","date_gmt":"2020-05-26T13:27:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diepslootnews.co.za\/?p=1301"},"modified":"2020-05-26T13:27:45","modified_gmt":"2020-05-26T13:27:45","slug":"grade-12-and-7-are-expected-to-resume-with-the-academic-calendar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diepslootnews.co.za\/?p=1301","title":{"rendered":"GRADE 12 AND 7 ARE EXPECTED TO RESUME WITH THE ACADEMIC CALENDAR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>JOHANNESBURG &#8211; Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga met with the Council of Education Ministers (CEM) yesterday to assess the progress made towards the reopening of school in the country, from 1June 2020 grade 12 and 7 pupils are expected to resume with the 2020 academic calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of Basic Education (DBE) acknowledges that not all schools would be able to reopen next week since there is a number of a province yet to receive the personnel protective equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motshekga&nbsp; is expected to sign directives this week that would address various issues in the sector including travel permits, matric exams, safety measures, and mass events in schools.
