In a time when many families are feeling the pinch of rising living costs, unemployment, and financial pressure, Digify Africa is offering a much-needed lifeline: easy-to-use, data-light learning bots called Lwazi and Lesedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two bots work 24\/7 via WhatsApp and are designed to help ordinary people understand their money.Lwazi teaches the basics\u2014like how to understand your credit score, the role of financial advisors, and the difference between money and wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lesedi dives into investment basics, guiding users on how to invest wisely, spot scams, and build long-term financial health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All users need to do is send \u201cHi\u201d to either of the WhatsApp numbers, and the lessons begin\u2014no downloads, no fees, and no personal info required. \u201cOur goal is to bridge the digital and financial literacy gap in South Africa,\u201d said Gavin Weale, Founder and CEO of Digify Africa. \u201cWhatsApp is already widely used, so we\u2019re using it to bring financial education directly into people\u2019s hands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
