The operation, scheduled to take place between 09h00 and 13h00, will be conducted in partnership with the South African Police Service (SAPS), Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD), and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Affected routes include sections of the M1, Nasrec Road, Rand Show Road, Eldorado Park offramp, Golden Highway, Soweto Highway, and other nearby streets. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance, make use of alternative routes, and expect delays during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Gauteng Traffic Police, the temporary closures are part of coordinated safety and traffic control measures to ensure the smooth flow of movement around the Nasrec area during the G20 Summit. Officers will be deployed across major intersections to guide motorists and manage congestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are urged to exercise patience, follow instructions from law enforcement officers, and stay alert for any traffic updates through official channels.
