The outreach forms part of Gauteng\u2019s build-up activities towards the provincial commemoration of World AIDS Day, set to take place next week. The programme focused on strengthening community education, encouraging HIV testing, promoting treatment adherence, and addressing stigma associated with the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officials highlighted the importance of early detection and consistent access to healthcare services, urging residents to utilise local clinics and wellness programmes. Community members also received information on prevention methods, including the use of PrEP, condoms, and youth-friendly sexual health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
