A local non-profit organisation, Tshedza Foundation, has announced a community education initiative aimed at supporting learners in Diepsloot and Riverside who have not yet been placed in schools or who were placed late and need academic support.
According to Ward 95 community leader and Tshedza Foundation president, Nkhumeleni, the programme will provide free Term 1 curriculum lessons to help learners catch up and stay on track with their schoolwork.
The foundation will offer support in several key subjects, including Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Geography, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, English, and History. The initiative is intended to ensure that no learner falls behind due to placement delays at the start of the school year.
Community members are encouraged to inform parents and guardians of affected learners so they can benefit from the programme.
The Tshedza Foundation says the initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and youth development in the Diepsloot community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
