ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa led a voter registration campaign and community outreach programme in Riverside View, north of Johannesburg, on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ramaphosa, accompanied by ANC leaders and local structures, conducted door-to-door visits aimed at encouraging residents to register to vote and engage with government programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit forms part of the ANC’s ongoing mass voter registration campaign and broader efforts to strengthen community structures ahead of upcoming electoral processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents were also given an opportunity to raise concerns affecting their communities during a community engagement meeting. Issues discussed included service delivery, local development and improving the quality of life for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ANC says the outreach programme is intended to deepen engagement with communities and advance people-centred governance by ensuring that the voices of residents are heard and acted upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
