Polokwane will host the inaugural Hotel & Home Design Fair (HHDF) from 8 to 10 October 2026, bringing together designers, manufacturers, hospitality businesses and other industry players at the T49 Hangar at Polokwane International Airport.

Organised by Gentry Business Enterprise (Pty) Ltd, the three-day fair will run from 09:00 to 17:00 daily and will showcase more than 60 exhibitors across furniture, textiles, décor, art and hospitality.

The event will feature several South African brands and organisations, including MAXHOSA AFRICA, which will curate the VIP lounge and present pop-up displays, Zwakala Brewery, which will offer a curated bar experience, the Azael Langa Foundation and BMW Polokwane.

A key focus of HHDF will be business-to-business engagement, providing exhibitors with an opportunity to connect with hospitality operators, property developers, architects, interior designers and procurement teams.

The organisers say the fair is intended to create opportunities for small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) to access new markets and build relationships with potential buyers sourcing products and services for hotels, lodges, homes and commercial spaces.

The programme will also include industry discussions led by the Design Institute of South Africa (DISA), with visitors able to attend panel sessions while exploring the exhibition and engaging with participating businesses.

An outdoor food and beer garden will provide visitors with a space to enjoy refreshments and network during the event.

The organisers have invited members of the media to cover the exhibition, profile participating businesses and explore the role of design in hospitality and local enterprise.
