Impact Africa is a non-profit organisation that works towards the community uplift meant. The organisation has establishing pre-school, working with local youth and Impact Baby Recue which was established 2013. Impact Africa started to working in Diepsloot community in 2010 where they have opened their first pre-school in Extension 2 in 2012 after seeing the need.

Since Impact Baby Rescue was established they have 107 cases of those cases 85 have come directly from Diepsloot. The organization does not focus only at Diepsloot but they work with some of the surrounding areas such as Cosmo City, Lion Park Zandspriut and kyasands. The organisation also helps children whom are neglected by their biological parents while they are still living with them what the organisation does whenever they encounter such situation the organisation refer them to their partnered social workers from the department of Social Development to take charge in them.

The organisation is not an island in Diepsloot it works hand in hand with Lawyers against abuse, Africa Tikun, Family Africa and Green Door. Peony Khosa who is a prevention or rescue field worker at Impact Baby Rescue stated that the people of Diepsloot are responding very well to the organisation since there are women who are coming for help and counselling.

Khosa said “we take any sort of donations that will help women and babies if anyone would like to donate can call on our Impact Baby Rescue number: 071 167 2002”.

The organisation continues being a door of hope to the community and the surrounding areas.
