Growing up in Diepsloot, the founder of Miss Riverside View witnessed firsthand the remarkable potential and talent that exist within her community. As a young girl, she was inspired to create opportunities for her peers — especially young girls — to shine, grow, and build confidence through modeling.
That dream led to the creation of Miss Riverside View, a pageant proudly hosted under the Laysh Our Confidence Modeling Agency, which serves as a platform where confidence, talent, and community spirit thrive.
“As a young girl, I was passionate about empowering my peers, particularly young girls, by providing them with opportunities to shine and grow in the modeling industry,” she shared. “Miss Riverside View is more than just a modeling pageant — it’s a platform to build confidence, develop skills, and showcase unique personalities.”
The much-anticipated Miss Riverside View 2025 is set to return this year, celebrating local beauty, empowerment, and talent from within the community. Registration is open to models aged 5 to 30 years old. Interested participants are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of R200 and sell five tickets at R200 each, with each ticket admitting two people.

The top three winners and brand ambassador will each receive a R1500 cash prize, along with a sash, crown, medal, gift bag, and other exciting rewards. Side titles will also be awarded, including Charity/Community Work and Public Choice, both earning special sashes.
