The City of Johannesburg will roll out its weekly High-Impact Service Delivery operation in Region A on Tuesday, 09 December 2025, with a strong focus on Wards 92 and 110 — areas that include Diepsloot and several surrounding suburbs.
The initiative aims to respond to long-standing service delivery challenges affecting local communities. City departments and entities will be on the ground addressing critical issues such as:
Persistent water outages
Illegal electricity connections
Land invasions and unmanaged developments
Ageing infrastructure
Sewer blockages
Vandalism of municipal property
Illegal dumping
Unregulated informal trading
The City says the operation forms part of its commitment to stabilising basic services, improving infrastructure, and ensuring safer, cleaner neighbourhoods for residents.
The High-Impact Service Delivery campaign continues to rotate across Joburg’s regions every week.
