Police are searching for 28-year-old Mlungisi Dlodlo, a Zimbabwean national, who is accused of assaulting a three-year-old child in Lion Park on Sunday.
According to the child’s grandmother, the little girl was left with serious injuries after the attack. Dlodlo allegedly fled the scene and has not been seen since.
Community members told Diepsloot News that Dlodlo had recently been released from prison, just two weeks ago, and was the former boyfriend of the victim’s mother.
