Police are investigating the murder of two young women whose bodies were discovered on the side of the road in Mamelodi, Pretoria.
The victims, aged 21 and 22, were found by community members on Sunday morning. Both had sustained gunshot wounds.
The motive behind the killings remains unknown.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Tintswalo Sibeko said no arrests have been made so far.
“Police are still investigating and appealing to anyone with information to come forward,” Sibeko said.
Authorities have urged members of the public to assist in identifying the perpetrators as investigations continue.
