JOHANNESBURG — The City of Johannesburg’s Disaster Management Centre has issued a Level 6 severe thunderstorm warning for tomorrow, signalling a high risk of dangerous weather conditions across the metro.
All critical city services, including Johannesburg Roads Agency, Joburg Water, City Power and EMS are now on high alert.
Residents are urged to:
- Clear blocked drains around their homes
- Avoid flooded roads and bridges
- Move to higher ground if living in low-lying or flood-prone areas
