The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) has alerted motorists to a major traffic disruption in Sandton after a shooting incident earlier today.
Katherine Street remains closed beneath the Grayston Drive overpass as SAPS processes the scene, with a heavy police presence in the area.
The closure is expected to cause significant delays during peak traffic, affecting Katherine Street, Grayston Drive, the M1 off-ramps at Grayston, as well as West Street and Rivonia Road.
