Two suspects were arrested after an attempted break-in at a Midrand residential complex.
Security personnel responded swiftly, intercepting the suspects before the situation escalated and handing them over to SAPS.
According to information, the suspects were part of a larger group that allegedly arrived in a minibus taxi and were believed to be carrying car-jamming devices and weapons.
While two were apprehended at the scene, several others managed to flee before police arrived.
Police have opened a case and investigations are underway to trace the remaining suspects.
