Ramaphosa Leads Voter Registration Drive in Riverside View

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa led a voter registration campaign and community outreach programme in Riverside View, north of Johannesburg, on Saturday.

Ramaphosa, accompanied by ANC leaders and local structures, conducted door-to-door visits aimed at encouraging residents to register to vote and engage with government programmes.

The visit forms part of the ANC’s ongoing mass voter registration campaign and broader efforts to strengthen community structures ahead of upcoming electoral processes.

Residents were also given an opportunity to raise concerns affecting their communities during a community engagement meeting. Issues discussed included service delivery, local development and improving the quality of life for residents.

The ANC says the outreach programme is intended to deepen engagement with communities and advance people-centred governance by ensuring that the voices of residents are heard and acted upon.

Ramaphosa’s visit to Riverside View is part of a wider ANC NEC outreach programme taking place across the country.
