A man has been arrested after allegedly attacking and injuring a uniformed EMPD officer in Thokoza.
The officer was stabbed in the head during an argument on Khumalo Street but managed to fight back and overpower the suspect.
The suspect, believed to be in his 30s, is now facing a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
